What data, and why

Contact form Your name, email, telephone if you give it, and the text of your message. Used to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
Orders Name, billing and delivery address, email, telephone, order details. Used to conclude and perform the contract (art. 6.1.b) and to meet tax obligations (art. 6.1.c).
Customer account If you create one: email and hashed password, plus your order history. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b).
Technical cookies The basket session identifier and a record of your cookie choice. Without them the basket empties between one page and the next. Legal basis: legitimate interest in making the site work (art. 6.1.f); no consent is required for these.
Server logs IP address, date and time, page requested. Any web server generates these automatically and they serve security. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).

The site sets no analytics or marketing cookies and loads no third-party scripts until you allow it. See the cookie policy.

Who the data is shared with

  • Carrier handling delivery, who is given your name, address and telephone number. [TO BE CONFIRMED AT THE STUDIO: carrier used]

  • Accountant and other professionals dealing with tax obligations.

Data is not sold, not passed on for commercial purposes, and not used for automated profiling.

Transfers outside the European Union

How long it is kept

Messages from the form Twenty-four months from the last contact, then deleted.
Order documents and invoices Ten years, as Italian tax law requires.
Customer account As long as you keep it open. On closure only the tax documents remain.

Cookie choice One hundred and eighty days.

Your rights

At any time you may ask to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive in a readable format the data you have given us (articles 15–22 GDPR). Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it whenever you like, and withdrawal does not affect what was done before.

Write to info@chianticeramica.it. You will have a reply within one month.

If you consider that the processing breaches the Regulation you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live.
