Description
Plates and bowls with the same olive decoration and a continuous green rim. The set is built up piece by piece and can be extended whenever you like, but pieces added in a later firing will not have exactly the same green: anyone who wants a perfectly uniform set should order it all at once.
A pale ground is the hardest to decorate. On a light ground every brushstroke stays in view: it is the pattern in which you recognise the sureness of the hand.
