Description
A rectangular tray, solid ground and contrasting border, with lettering painted freehand. A letter painted with a brush on raw glaze cannot be corrected: the wording is done in one go, and if it comes out crooked the piece goes back to the first firing.
It is used as a sign, as a serving tray, or as a piece to hang. The wording and the two colours are agreed in advance.
