Vases & amphorae

The large pieces: amphorae with hand-applied handles, lidded jars, apothecary jars, column vases. They are also the slowest to make: the wall dries slowly and evenly before the first firing.

On these surfaces the decoration runs without a break and reads from across a room. They are the pieces that go in a niche or alone on a table, with nothing else around them.
